- FAULT
- Pump will not start.
- Reduced performance or flow
- PROBABLE CAUSE
- Air in pump or system.
- SOLUTION
- Check that pump and pipe work is primed of all air.
- Check that the hot supply to the pump is fitted with the correct flange fitted to the hot water cylinder.
- Check that pump and pipe work is installed and plumbed in as per installation instructions, these can be downloaded by clicking here.
- Inlet filters blocked.
- AV couplers bent or distorted.
- Excessive hot temperature.
- Pump starts when not in use.
- PROBABLE CAUSE
- Air in system.
- Leak in pipe work.
- Noisey pump.

- Check that the cold water storage tank is correct for installation and pump is fitted as per Salamander Installation instructions
- Check that there is a flange fitted to the hot water cylinder
- If fitted above the outlet to the hot water cylinder check that an anti-gravity loop has been plumbed in
